ATMA GST workshops for Natural Rubber Supply Chain
The Goods and Services Tax (GST), rolled out nationally from July 1, 2017 is a very significant step in the field of indirect tax reforms in India. GST is aimed at a simpler tax regime that facilitates ease of compliance from businesses.
For the benefit of Natural Rubber supply chain partners comprising dealers, traders and other stakeholders, Automotive Tyre Manufacturers Association (ATMA) held outreach workshops on GST.
The session held by tax experts deliberated on issues specific to NR trade & industry. Legal and procedural aspects and the compliance expected under GST were discussed. The session also provided a platform to raise queries and concerns regarding GST. The workshops were supported by Indian Rubber dealers Federation. Chief Guest Mr. N Rajagopal Secretary (I/C) Rubber Board inaugurated the GST workshops.
